Overview

The Step Drill is designed for efficient holemaking when a part requires a pilot diameter followed by one or more larger diameters, shoulders, or lead-in features. By integrating multiple diameters into one tool, a step drill can reduce cycle time, simplify programming, and help maintain coaxiality between hole sections.
